Scotney Castle
Another gem of the National Trust and only a short drive away. Get lost in the colourful gardens and romantic ruins, visit the historic house or take a stroll in the parkland.
Bedgebury National Pinetum & Forest
Located near Goudhurst, this is the perfect place for healthy outdoor exercise. There are miles of family cycling; mountain biking, walking, horse riding and adventure play for all ages.
Finchcocks
This musical museum is a fine Georgian manor house set in beautiful gardens and parkland. It is a musical centre of international repute, with many events and festivals throughout the year.
Marle Place Gardens & Gallery
An extensive and peaceful garden with a series of colourful garden rooms with interesting features from the Victorian and Edwardian eras. Sculpture and land art can be seen throughout the grounds; and in the studio and gallery there are exhibitions of work by contemporary artists.
Bewl Water
This is the southeast's largest reservoir and is settled within a green and wooded Wealden valley just south of Lamberhurst. There are many activities that you can pursue in either the lake itself or the land surrounding it, including sailing, cycling or finding out about the importance of water at the visitor centre.
Cranbrook
The historic market town of Cranbrook has a pretty, medieval high street that is full of independent shops just waiting to be explored. Other attractions include the large windmill, museum and stunning church.
Tenterden
The nearby market town of Tenterden is perhaps most famous for its historic steam trains that take you on a wonderful journey to Bodiam Castle. The town also benefits from a wide tree lined high street containing an assortment of antique & gift shops as well as some more well known retail names.
Biddenden Vineyard & Cider Works
Approximately 2 miles away from the Three Chimneys, the vineyard produces white, red, rose and sparkling wines. They are also noted for their strong Kentish ciders and farm pressed apple juice.
